Queen’s State Visit to Ireland 2011
The Queen was greeted enthusiastically everywhere she visited and both countries reported the visit as an outstanding success.
Since the visit we have had numerous customers enquiring if we sold any Royal Wedding Souvenirs for Prince William & Kate Middleton's Wedding and would we be stocking any items for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in 2012. It would appear the Queen in particular has now a big following in Ireland since her visit.
So due to public demand we are pleased to include both these collections in our rapidly expanding product range. Not the normal items you would expect
a store selling Irish items to stock but we are more than happy to take on board our customers requests.
Queen Elizabeth II made a historic state visit to Ireland from 17th to 20th May 2011. This was at the invitation of the Irish President Mary McAleese.
This was an historic occasion, as it was the first ever visit by a British Head of State to the Republic of Ireland.
